Premier League striker reveals big reason Lacazette missed huge chance vs Tottenham
TOTTENHAM star Hugo Lloris is one of the quickest goalkeepers off his line - and that is why Alexandre Lacazette missed a glorious late opportunity in yesterday’s north London derby.
He’s flown out and put him under a bit of pressure. I don’t think there was any badness on Lacazette’s part
Glenn Murray on Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris
First he volleyed over the bar from 12 yards before a guilt-edged one-on-one chance, where he slipped the ball past an onrushing Lloris but beyond his compratriot's post.
Lacazette has scored just once in his last 13 appearances in all competitions.
But when asked if the miss was down to a lack of confidence from the Arsenal man, Murray disagreed.
“He’s so sharp off his line,” Murray said of France international Lloris.

Glenn Murray says Alexandre Lacazette was not to blame for his miss against Tottenham
“He’s one of the quickest off I’ve seen off his line.
“It’s a tight angle, do you know what I mean. He’s flown out and put him under a bit of pressure.
“At the end of the game he might be a little tired, I don’t think there was any badness on Lacazette’s part.”
