The Barcelona man, who has been at the San Siro since January, is rumoured to want to remain in Italy.

However, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, the fee for his transfer could be a big issue.

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde doesn’t consider Rafinha a big part of his future plans.

However Barca’s sporting director Robert Fernandez is keen on the 25-year-old.

Rafinha is currently on loan at Inter Milan from Barcelona

That means the Catalan giants are keeping a high asking price, wanting around 35million euros plus an extra 3m euros bonus.

Rafinha has made 48 appearances for Barcelona since making his debut in 2011.

His spell at Inter Milan is the second time he has left the club on loan, having previously joined Celta Vigo for a season.

Inter do have an option to buy Rafinha, though that would be at the 35m euros previously agreed.

It is thought the Serie A side will attempt to lower the price should they not reach next year’s Champions League.

Inter currently sit fifth in Italy’s top tier with the top four reaching Europe’s premier cup competition.

Inter sit a point behind Roma and Lazio, who occupy third and fourth respectively, with just four games to go.
