This beautiful island has been named the "sunniest place in Europe in May" with temperatures averaging around 25C. 

Kos, the third largest in Dodecanese islands, is a favourite amongst travellers.

It's a hit with families, groups of friends and couples who are drawn to its vibrant nightlife, local cuisine, activities and.

The island is known for its stunning beaches, picturesque villages and wealth of historic sites. 

Known as the birthplace of Hippocrates, the father of medicine, Kos feels like an open-air museum.
