KIT HARINGTON, who plays Jon Snow in HBO series Game Of Thrones, has opened up on his close bond with co-star Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen.
Kit Harington admits he 'burst into tears' filming last GOT scene
Game Of Thrones actor Kit Harington, 32, reflected on his friendship with Emilia Clarke, revealing they both “know what the other one’s going through”. Explaining all about his on-screen lover, he told Esquire: “I think we’re good mates because we, maybe more than anyone else, know what the other one’s going through a bit. “I don’t mean to sound like we’re going through the worst thing in the world. But I think no one else other than Emilia will know exactly what being on Thrones is like, the way we’re on Thrones. That’s really how we kind of bonded.”

The pair returned to screens earlier this week in the latest and final series of the HBO hit show.
In its eighth series, viewers see Daenerys Targaryen teaching Jon how to train her dragons.
But, Kit admitted filming on the mechanical dragon came at a cost as he sustained a painful injury on set.
The actor revealed how his right testicle got trapped in the dragon, leaving him fearing the worst.
He told HBO’s Game Revealed: “I think what sums up the buck for me was there was a bit where Jon almost falls off.
“The dragon swings around really violently, like this, and my right ball got trapped, and I didn't have time to say ‘Stop!’ And I was being swung around.”
He added: “In my head, I thought, ‘This is how it ends, on this buck, swinging me around by testicles, literally.’”
After revealing the details of his painful ordeal, he added: “Probably too much information.”
During filming for his final scenes, Kit admitted he “broke down” on set.
He added to Esquire: “Then they called 'Wrap!' and I just f***ing broke down.
“It was this onslaught of relief and grief about not being able to do this again. It wasn't so much about Jon.
“It was about not being in this world, not getting to smell those smells, fight those fights, be with these people - the whole package.”
Jon also previously insisted he was glad the series has ended so he could go back to having more of a social life.
He divulged: “I’m looking forward to the celebrating of it, I'm looking forward to seeing my mates again, it's very few times now when we will all be in the same room."
Game Of Thrones season 8 airs Sundays on HBO at 9pm.
