After announcing his seperation from wife Christine in 2022, Paddy McGuinness has shed light on his dating life and if he's currently dating anyone.

The pair shocked the world when they revealed they were parting ways after 11 years of marriage and three children together. Although the two are currently in the process of divorcing one another, they are still living together and putting their three children first.

Opening up about his dating life, the ITV star told the Mirror: "I tried a couple of dates last year – After 12 months of adjusting to life on my own I felt I should give it a try rather than really wanting to. For now, I’m happy being single.”

But the presenter, 50, has revealed he would be happy for Christine, 36, if she were to find another partner and move on from him and their marriage.

"If Christine met someone else, I’d be supportive," he told the publication. "If someone didn’t know our situation and came to our house and they spent the day with us, they would not have a clue (we were not together).

"We get on well, we live together and co-parent. We get the lawyers back and forth but that’s separate - that’s a different thing."

The two shared a heartfelt statement on their split in July 2022 after more than a decade together.

They said: "We hadn't planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but after the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify.

"A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children.

"This was not an easy decision to make but we're moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children.

"We'll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together," the ITV stars expressed.

"We hope this now draws a line under any more unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our private life.

"Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter. We'll be making no further comment."
