The 54-year-old pop sensation, who burst onto the music scene 25 years ago, has shared that she's "ready to go" and in "fighting shape".

The On The Floor singer attributes her slimmed-down physique to her gruelling filming schedule for her new movie.

J.Lo is currently finalising details for her forthcoming This is Me... Now tour, set to commence in America at the end of June, promising a performance that will keep audiences riveted.

In a conversation with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on Live with Kelly and Mark, J.Lo, who tied the knot with Ben Affleck in 2022, divulged the secrets behind her enviable figure.

She said: "I just finished a movie called Kiss of the Spider Woman, where it was all singing and dancing, which was equal parts exhilarating and exhausting as well."

In the forthcoming musical, J.Lo portrays a fantasy woman imagined by a gay man incarcerated in an Argentine prison.

The film, yet to have a release date, marks a departure from the high-octane blockbusters the actress is typically associated with.

Jennifer has been candid about how the demanding filming schedule has influenced her figure, admitting: "I'm the thinnest I've ever been. I'm in fighting shape right now."

The award-winning singer also shared how performing on tour would greatly benefit her overall health.

Asserting: "It's moving your body, constantly moving your body, it's travelling, it's doing two hours of exertion every night...

It's a time when I get, like, in a really good kind of healthy shape."

Despite the swirling rumours of low ticket sales putting her upcoming tour in danger, J.Lo vowed to make the shows "very exciting", ensuring that attendees won't feel the need to leave mid-show.

She quipped: "This is the part of the show where I can go get a soda."
