Catherine Zeta-Jones donates to fund for missing Welsh girl

CATHERINE ZETA-JONES has donated a pair of her designer high heels to help fund an ongoing search for a girl who vanished in Wales.

The Welsh actress was upset to learn about the abduction of five-year-old April Jones last month (Oct12), and has handed over an autographed photo and a signed pair of gold sandals to be auctioned off for the April's Fund campaign.

Vikki Macdonald, a friend of the Jones family, says, "We wrote a letter to Catherine to ask for support. She kindly gave us the shoes, which she wore to a premiere."

The shoes will go under the hammer in the schoolgirl's hometown of Machynlleth, Powys later this month (Nov12).

Mark Bridger, 46, has been charged with abducting and murdering Jones but the child's body has not yet been discovered.
