Michael Lohan fears for unborn child in prison
MICHAEL LOHAN has accused prison bosses of failing to give proper medical care to his pregnant girlfriend KATE MAJOR as she serves a jail sentence.
Major was sentenced to eight months behind bars in May (14) after a judge ruled a driving under the influence (DUI) arrest in March (14) violated her probation relating to 2012 battery conviction.
However, Lohan claims Major has had two health scares involving unexplained bleeding since being jailed, and he insists some prison staff are not taking the medical concerns seriously.
Editors at TMZ.com report Major was taken to the jail's medical unit on both occasions but was sent back to her cell after doctors found the baby's heartbeat, and Lohan reportedly claims she was forced to carry her possessions back to her cell while still bleeding.
He tells the website, "You know damn well if someone has vaginal bleeding while pregnant that's indicative of a miscarriage."
Lindsay Lohan's father has now reportedly hired attorney Jose Baez, who is expected to attempt to get an order forcing prison bosses to have Major examined and treated by a specialist.
