Brightman and Bocelli perform 'Time to Say Goodbye'

It’s been almost 30 years since released his Time To Say Goodbye duet with Sarah Brightman that went on to sell over 12 million copies worldwide.

Most recently the Italian maestro put out a new version with his son Matteo Bocelli, that was arranged by Hans Zimmer and debuted live in the Oscars’ In Memoriam segment.

And now fans can watch the 65-year-old sing one of the best selling singles of all time in new live footage.

Posted on his Instagram account, the goosebump-inducing clip was captioned: “Andrea Bocelli attends the gala of Tod’s, partner of Pavilion Italia at the Venice Biennale Arte.”

Andrea, who will perform at BST Hyde Park this summer, said earlier this year: “It is the song of my life, it is the melody that represents me in the eyes of the world: reinventing it, thanks to the collaboration with Hans Zimmer, and singing it together with my son Matteo, represents an exciting challenge.

“It will be a new debut (and it is part of a larger upcoming project), and I am happy that it will take place on the same Oscar stage that already hosted me in ’99 together with my friend Céline Dion.”
