Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made a huge mistake in relation to changes to their PR team, a royal expert has claimed.

The Sussexes have announced that they have made changes to their PR team, bringing in Charlie Gipson to manage their UK and European media engagements.

But Royal Family expert Richard Fitzwilliams says this move should have happened years ago to prevent their standing with the public from getting to where it is today.

He said: "They urgently needed this quite a long time ago. They needed far more PR help since they stepped down as working royals."

Fitzwilliams added that Harry's various claims in his memoir Spare were "very unwise," including his admission of past drug use and "mentioning the number of Taliban he took out during his tour of Afghanistan."
