Love Island fans left confused after Kady McDermott's 'crocodile tears' towards Whitney

Love Island viewers were left confused and claimed Kady McDermott was crying "crocodile tears" over an argument which didn't involve her.

Scott van-der-Sluis pulled his fellow Islanders around the fire pit because he had heard rumours that some believed his feelings for Catherine Agbaje weren't genuine.

Confronting the group, Scott said: “Everyone, can you all come round the fire pit…me and Catherine were sat in the den and I can hear everyone saying my name multiple times.

"If anyone’s got an issue with anything that’s going on, just air it out now in front of everyone.”

Kady jumped in and quipped: “I wasn’t there Scott, I’m honest, unlike other people in here.”

After things got a little heated, Tyrique Hyde began to walk away from the group, leaving the rest of them to disperse.

However, as Kady walked away, Whitney Adebayo announced: "By the way you lot, if you got something to say pull me up privately.”

Kady reacted as she said to Whitney: “Why don’t you pull me, I think you should pull me, I’m the new girl and last to know everything.

"You’re telling everyone you fancy Zach but I don’t know that," and began to cry and walk away to the sundeck upset.

However, viewers were left confused about how Kady had managed to flip the argument around to her and Whitney's situation with Zachariah Noble.

Taking to their Twitter, user @skarrjenn noted: "I’m so confused how did Kady make this about herself?? #LoveIsland."

@elliexxcodner commented: "I’m tired of Kady you had your 5 minutes of fame can she leave now #LoveIsland."

@glossylipsonly added: "How did Kady manage to make the whole situation about her though? #LoveIsland."

@StephyNicolex quipped: "Kady’s just upset because she’s not the Queen of the villa #LoveIsland."

@liptonbab penned: "#LoveIsland Here go Kady with the crocodile tears making this about her like be so fr." (sic)

However, @Rosskiernan_ praised Kady's fiery nature and said: "Fine I admit it I really like Kady she’s giving this season life #loveisland." (sic)

The next day, the boys had squashed their issues with Scott and agreed that airing their concerns had made their friendships stronger.

Zachariah and Kady also had a conversation about being more open and honest with one another, leaving Zach to add: "You are the person I want to get to know."
