The former Liverpool man first revealed the WhatsApp group in wishing Messi a happy birthday.
“We have a WhatsApp group for the team and we've all sent him a message there, like we always do when it's somebody's birthday,” Coutinho explained.
“We communicate there.
“For me, it's a pleasure to play by his side.
“Messi is a very calm guy off the pitch and he has helped me a lot.”

Coutinho was then asked if Neymar is still in the WhatsApp group following his Barcelona exit for PSG in the summer of 2017.
“No,” he replied, chuckling.
“There's not much going on in the group right now, only birthdays really.
“We've not spoken about Neymar.”
Coutinho was then asked about his future and if he'll be staying at the Nou Camp amid rumours linking him with Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG.
