Who Frank Lampard wants to keep at Chelsea - and who the new boss is happy to let go
CHELSEA manager Frank Lampard is set to allow a string of young players leave the club on loan, whilst one surprise prospect will be included in the first team squad.
Regardless, Lampard has faith in the 19-year-old, and will include him in his first-team squad this year.
Presumably, he will be used in League cup fixtures before potentially becoming involved in the first-team for Premier League games.
The new boss has decided to wield the axe and allow a group of youngsters to leave on loan, however.
Matt Miazga, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Jack Clarke-Salter, Trevor Chalobah, Lewis Baker, Lucas Piazon, Dujon Sterling, and Izzy Brown are all expected to leave.

Miazga is close to agreeing a deal to return to Championship side Reading, having made a good impression last year.
The American defender joined the Royals midway through last season as they were flirting with relegation, but played a crucial role in helping the side stay up.
He played 18 times as Reading, with the side losing just four games in that period.
And after the side’s soft transfer embargo was lifted, Miazga is expected to join on loan for one season.

Lampard is apparently willing to let Kenneth Omeruo and Baba Rahman leave the club on a permanent basis.
With Chelsea still under a transfer embargo, they are unable to sign anyone until next summer, leaving Lampard forced to rely only youth players.
And he is planning to give Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori, Michy Batshuayi and Kenedy chances in the team this season.
Mount knows Lampard well, having played a key role for Derby County last season in the former midfielder’s first season in management, and he is likely to be used again this year.
