Barcelona think Man Utd are one of three clubs who could sign Philippe Coutinho
The Spanish giants believe Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG could sign Coutinho this summer.
Barcelona are hoping to recoup the majority of the £142m they paid Liverpool for Coutinho last year.
The 27-year-old has struggled to find form at the Nou Camp, with Coutinho scoring just five La Liga goals last season.
Liverpool have been tipped to re-sign Coutinho this summer, however, Jurgen Klopp this week ruled out a return, claiming the Reds cannot afford the deal.
Liverpool need to bring back Philippe Coutinho says Nicol
However, despite Klopp denying any interest, Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher reckons Coutinho is just what the Reds need to catch Manchester City.
“I still think they could add a creative player,” Carragher said.
“They tried to sign one last season in (Nabil) Fekir, he’s actually gone this summer for a lot cheaper (joining Real Betis for €19.7m).
“I said it before, I’d love to see Liverpool bring Coutinho back if that was possible in any way.
