Matt Upson believes Frank Lampard has a problem to solve ahead of his side’s Champions League clash with Ajax this evening.
Lampard will welcome back N’Golo Kante to the Chelsea squad, after sustaining a muscle injury while away on intentional duty with France in Iceland.
That gives the Chelsea boss a problem, given that Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho have been two standout players for the Blues in the Frenchman’s absence.
The pair seem to have struck up a partnership in the engine room, meaning Lampard may have to break that up if he’s to restore Kante to the starting line up.

“What he brings to that team with his energy is just world class.”
Jorginho will be suspended for this weekend’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
That may hand Lampard the chance to reintroduce Kante to the fold.
Chelsea currently top Group H, level on six points with Ajax who they beat 1-0 at the Johan Cruyff Arena two weeks ago.
