Arsenal: Santo not ‘top of the list’ to replace Emery says pundit
Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio has warned Arsenal to leave Nuno Espirito Santo alone as they eye the Portuguese manager to replace Unai Emery, who is on the brink of the sack after losing the support of Gunners supporters. The Spaniard has won just one of his last matches and the board are now planning for the future which could be without the former Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain boss.

“It’s extremely important to keep Nuno at the club. It’s important to keep him.
“We have ambitions, so that’s the only way to develop the club. Every competition we are involved in, we want to win.”
Patricio believes Nuno is key to Wolves’ development as a club, and if he left the Black Country it may also damage their relationship with Jorge Mendes.
The super-agent has helped bring the likes of Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves to Molineux.
No doubt Nuno was the main factor behind luring Wolves’ Portuguese contingent to England.
