BLACKPOOL manager Ian Holloway admitted his side had got away with a smash and grab raid after they condemned Billy Davies’ Forest to their third home defeat of the season.
“We were like a burglar who’d gone in, nicked something, chucked it in the bag and away we’ve gone,” he said. “But we took our chances and they didn’t defend as well as we did.”
Record signing charlie adam recovered from an overnight illness to score the winner with a fine solo effort after 19 minutes.
Forest boss Billy Davies said: “It was one of those days, we had plenty of chances. We’re not clinical enough.”
