Arsenal: What January business do they need to do?
Arsenal have a "genuine" interest in signing Real Madrid midfielder Isco on loan in January, according to reports. However, Gunners technical director Edu has made Mikel Arteta aware that he would have to let a player leave the club first before facilitating a deal for the Spain international. Isco has been out of favour at Real this season, making just three La Liga starts.
Arsenal are one of a number of clubs across Europe to be linked with the 28-year-old.
Everton are another Premier League side said to be interested in signing Isco but reports from Spain say Sevilla are his preferred destination.
Arsenal are in need of a creative midfielder after scoring just 15 goals in as many Premier League games this season ahead of Tuesday's trip to Brighton.
Norwich City's Emiliano Buendia and Barcelona's Riqui Puig are also said to be on the club's radar.

Meanwhile, Arsenal picked up their first win in seven Premier League matches on Boxing Day with a 3-1 victory over Chelsea.
And manager Arteta says the performance against Chelsea was the blueprint for how he wants his team to play going forward.
"I saw a lot of things that I really liked from the start [against Chelsea]," Arteta said.
"One of them is the courage that we have to play and the energy that we showed and how aggressive we were with the ball and the energy that the team was transmitting in a football match.
