Daniel Ek would be a worse owner for Arsenal than Stan Kroenke, according to journalist, author and Gunners fan Philippe Auclair. Spotify co-founder Ek is interested in buying Arsenal in a consortium including three legendary former players. Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp are all backing the takeover from the Swedish entrepreneur.
Kroenke has faced increasing criticism from Arsenal supporters since he took complete control of the club in 2018.
Thousands of fans protested outside the Emirates last Friday following the club's decision to join the breakaway European Super League.
Arsenal have since withdrawn from the league but the motion to join it was the last straw in many supporters' eyes.
Excitement has built among the fan base since it emerged on Monday morning that Henry, Vieira and Bergkamp were involved in a proposed takeover bid of the north London club.

"Yeah [the same way as the Glazers]. To be honest that is exactly what I think."
Auclair also does not think the takeover will end up happening and says it is the wrong time to be looking at buying a football club, especially Arsenal.
"To be honest I genuinely don't think it's going to happen," Auclair said.
"The club is valued at something like £2bn, which in the current circumstances you'd have to be completely and utterly mad to invest in a football club that has, in terms of sporting terms has gone down ever since the second decade of Arsene Wenger's reign, which is now a mid-table club, which financially is going absolutely nowhere."
