Arsenal are flying high at the top of the Premier League table and have made it through to the last-16 of the Europa League. However, it hasn't been all plain sailing for everyone in the Gunners squad so far this season. Express Sport looks at four players who could potentially flop at the Emirates if they fail to make much of an impact in the rest of the campaign.
Lokonga joined Arsenal from Anderlecht in the summer of 2021. He was dubbed by his former manager Vincent Kompany as the next Yaya Toure.
However, he has so far failed to live up to anywhere near that billing. Lokonga perhaps featured more than anyone would have expected in the early stages of his debut campaign in England.
But once Thomas Partey returned to fitness, he found himself out of the team and behind Mohamed Elneny in the pecking order. The 23-year-old has failed to take his chances in both Europe and the Carabao Cup this season and after already making his frustrations clear at a lack of game time, his long-term future at the club may be in doubt.
Despite costing £34million, perhaps Arteta signed Vieira with a clear look to the future. But the 22-year-old is currently struggling in the matches he is selected for.
Vieira has made just one start in the Premier League so far and scored a fine goal in the 3-0 win at Brentford. But after impressing in the early rounds of the Europa League, he has flattered to deceive of late.
Against Brighton on Wednesday he was wasteful in possession and in front of goal. It may be unfair to judge Vieira already but with skipper Martin Odegaard ahead of him, it appears his pathway to becoming a first-team starter is currently blocked.

To be fair to Turner, he was never signed to become Arsenal's No 1. The move to the Emirates has helped him become more well known across Europe ahead of playing for the USA at the World Cup.
But he has already been advised by former Premier League goalkeeper Brad Friedel that he is too good to sit on the bench. Aaron Ramsdale looks set to be the long-term goalkeeper for Arteta.
Turner is a more than capable back-up for the England international. But if high profile figures in U.S. football such as Friedel continue to urge him to leave, then his time at Arsenal may be a brief one.

Marquinhos
Again, it is perhaps far too early to judge Marquinhos. He only cost Arsenal £3m in the summer so it wouldn't be too much of a loss if he did flop.
But after starting the first two Europa League group games, he dropped to the bench for the next four. The home match against Bodo/Glimt showed that he is perhaps not ready for senior football at this level.
Arsenal are in the market for a winger, so he could find game time even harder to come by in the near future. A loan move may be best for Marquinhos to get more regular action.
