Aspas has been sounded out by clubs across Europe following a series of impressive performances for the Spanish outfit this season.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is keen to add another midfielder to his squad despite already boasting Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere and Mikel Arteta.
And with Wenger’s knowledge of the Spanish market, a move could be on the cards.
According to Spanish paper Marca, Aspas has an £8m buyout clause which may dissuade some suitors from a bid.
Celta chairman, Carlos Mourino has tried to warn potential suitors off from making a bid for Aspas.
But with the money generated from the sponsorship deal with Emirates, Wenger wants to put the extra funds available to him to good use.
Aspas has been sharp in front of goal this season, scoring six times in 15 appearances.
