Jermain Defoe will miss Spurs' next three fixtures
Defoe will sit out tomorrow night's Europa League game against FC Basel and will miss crucial Premier League games against Everton and Manchester City.
The 30-year-old missed three weeks of the season in February after sustaining an ankle ligament injury during the 1-0 win over West Brom.

Although Gareth Bale has been mesmerising for Spurs, they don't have any out and out scorers as Emmnauel Adebayor has failed to replicate his form of last season.
Defoe has netted 12 goals in all competitions for Spurs this season.
