Fabricio Coloccini could be San Lorenzo bound in the summer
The Argentine had a yearning to return to his old club, where he previously spent six months on loan during his time as an AC Milan, however the Magpies blocked a January move.
Though the 31-year-old played a vital role in keeping Newcastle up, it seems that San Lorenzo are going to redouble their efforts to sign him this summer.
"I have the intention of having a meeting with Fabricio and talking about the conditions of his arrival to San Lorenzo," the Argentine club's president, Marias Lammens told Argentine paper La Cicloneta.
"We understand that Newcastle don't have too much interest in the summer other than keeping Coloccini in their squad.

"They have managed to escape from the relegation zone, so they will now think about what is best for the player; that he needs to go back home."
Coloccini made 29 appearances in all competitions for Newcastle last term.
