Reports emerged over the weekend that Sanchez angered Diaz when he tried to take a free-kick during Chile's friendly clash against El Salvador on Friday.
Hamburg's Diaz is usually Chile's first choice set-piece taker and the pair according to El Mercurio, became involved in a heated exchange.
Sanchez was also labelled as 'greedy', and Chile captain Gary Medel was apparently forced to intervene in the dressing room to prevent the players coming to blows.

But Sanchez believes the incident has been blown out of proportion and insists there is no rift between him and Diaz.
"We’re all good,” said Sanchez.
