Kyle Walker (left) says Mauricio Pochettino is 'vital' to Tottenham's future
Pochettino, 44, has been linked with both Manchester United and Real Madrid in recent weeks.
United are expected to let Louis van Gaal leave at the end of the summer, while Real are reportedly preparing to replace Zinedine Zidane.
Pochettino has steered Spurs into title contention just two years into his reign at White Hart Lane.
"He did well at Southampton and he’s come here and done well so he’s proved he’s a very good manager.
“His door is always open. You hear players saying that a lot about various managers but with him, it really is true.
"Whenever you want to talk to him about something, you can knock on his door, even if it’s not about football.
“If you’re having any kind of problems, you can knock on his door, sit, talk, and it just takes the weight off your shoulders, knowing he backs you and knows how you’re feeling.
As for United, Jose Mourinho remains favourite to replace Van Gaal if the Dutchman leaves this summer, although assistant Ryan Giggs is also in the frame alongside Pochettino.
