Wayne Rooney and son Kai in stitches over Memphis Depay's big fail
Depay, signed by Louis van Gaal a year ago, was expected to take the Premier League by storm after firing PSV Eindhoven to the Eredivisie title the previous season.
However, the Netherlands winger struggled with the demands of English football, fading after an initially bright start.
The 22-year-old struggled to oust the likes of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard from Van Gaal's starting line-up, and speculation that he could leave intensified after he was axed from their FA Cup-winning match day squad.
So far, I have seen a good and professional boy. You can see him driving a nice car and you might think that this guy's not thinking about football, but that is not the case

However Mourinho has backed Depay to get back to his best, insisting that doubts over his attitude are misplaced.
"Last season is something I don't want to go into too much where Memphis is concerned; all I know is the player that I watched in the 2014 World Cup and the player I watched many times at PSV," he said speaking ahead of today's clash with Bournemouth.
"With that player in mind, I know I want to keep him - I want to try everything [to help him succeed].

Jose Mourinho has backed Manchester United winger Memphis Depay to rediscover his best form
"The kid thinks about football a lot and he suffers because he is frustrated with what happened last season, but he will be back."
Depay could feature today as Mourinho bids to win his first league game as United manager.
Juan Mata will start on the wing in a move that will surprise many given the way Mourinho unceremoniously subbed him in the Community Shield win over Leicester last week.
