The Manchester United midfielder will serve the mandatory three-game suspension for violent conduct but feared the FA could add on another game because of his heated protests to referee Martin Atkinson and initial refusal to leave the pitch following the clash with Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.
But FA disciplinary officials have decided not to increase the punishment and instead let Fellaini off with a warning over his future conduct.

The Belgium international's absence compounds Jose Mourinho’s problems ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Swansea at Old Trafford when United will have eight players missing – the others being Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Juan Mata and youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
It could lead to a midfield outing for Wayne Rooney. "Yes, he's an option,” said Mourinho.
