Mourinho: Matic is injured but he'll play against Man City
United tore Arsenal to pieces on the counter-attack last weekend as they ran out 3-1 winners at the Emirates.
City roll into town tomorrow (4.30pm) with Pep Guardiola’s men eager to put further distance between themselves and United, with the gap at eight points between the top two sides.
Keown was thoroughly impressed with the way United handled themselves and thinks Mourinho should use Jesse Lingered to instigate attacks like he did against Arsenal and labelled that match a “Playstation game”.
“Jose [Mourinho] may try to park the bus, but that doesn’t mean we’re in for a boring match. United will try to shut the game down, yet they pack a punch on the break,” Keown told the Daily Mail.

Their victory over Arsenal resembled a PlayStation game
Martin Keown
“Their victory over Arsenal resembled a PlayStation game!
“Mourinho might see that as one of his best matches. He executed his game plan, pressing high and winning the ball back well.
“United spent most of the game covering up — with shots raining down on David de Gea’s goal — but won it with two big punches in the first 11 minutes and a hay-maker in the second half.
“They can pose problems with their aerial threat but balls into the channels will be just as testing.

Mourinho: Both Manchester sides have improved
“It will be interesting to see if Mourinho uses Jesse Lingard to break on City.
“Pep Guardiola’s side will look to counter-attack on United’s breaks and it could turn into a cracker.
“United must step it up but will enjoy being at home.”
