Divock Origi heads the ball into the net for Wolfsburg
The Liverpool forward joined Wolfsburg in the summer on loan after growing frustrated at a lack of first-team opportunities at Anfield.
The Belgian has rejuvenated his career in Germany with four goals in 15 appearances and Wolfsburg have made clear that they would like to keep him at the club.
A return to Liverpool for Origi will likely mean being back-up to the front three of Roberto Firming, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
The 22-year-old, will have one year left on his Liverpool contract in the summer, revealed last month that he hasn’t been in contact with Jurgen Klopp since he left.
"I take that as a compliment that the club rates me," Origi said.
"Several factors play a role. I am someone who is enjoying the moment.
"I think everything's possible. I focus on the here and now. I have a good relationship with Liverpool, but feel really well here at Wolfsburg.

“We'll sit down at the end of the season, and talk we'll see what's next.
“Right now, I am here for another six months, and I am open for everything."
Origi joined Liverpool from Lille in 2014 for £10million before being sent straight back on loan to the Ligue 1 outfit.
In his two years at Liverpool, he scored 21 goals in 77 appearances, starting just 46 games.
