Gallas thinks his former France team-mate and Arsenal legend Henry should work alongside the Italian before taking over in a few years time.
“If Arsenal want to give him (Henry) the opportunity to be manager for Arsenal, they have to bring one manager,” he told Sky Sports.
“For me it’s Ancelotti. Why? Because if you bring Ancelotti he’s a great manager, but he’s a great manager who would like to share his experience.
“So if you bring Ancelotti and after a while you bring Thierry as his assistant, for two or three years Thierry will learn a lot with Ancelotti.
