In fact, his displays have even had the likes of Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois talking about him.
During England’s 1-0 defeat to Belgium in the group stages, Pickford came in for some criticism after failing to keep out Adnan Januzaj’s long-range effort.
After the match, Courtois said: “The goalkeeper is 10cm smaller than me.

But the Chelsea shot-stopper has now cleared up his comments, insisting he didn’t mock England’s No 1.
“I want to clarify something about Jordan,” said Courtois.
“I would never mock the height of a goalkeeper, he had a great year, I said because he got a touch I maybe would have saved it because I'm a little bit taller."
Meanwhile, Pickford had his own view on Courtois’ comments once they came to light and he insists he makes up for a lack of height in other areas of his game.
"I have got power and agility,” he said.
