Men’s odds: Who will win Wimbledon 2017?

Roger Federer is the favourite to win a record-breaking eighth Wimbledon crown after his odds shortened to 6/5, according to Betfair.

American Sam Querrey knocked Andy Murray out of Wimbledon during the quarter-final today to the disappointment of the home crowd.

Rafael Nadal, who had been the second favourite, crashed out of Wimbledon this week after an epic five-set defeat at the hands of 16th seed Gilles Muller.

Oddschecker spokesman Alex Pindar said: “Despite going into the tournament as the reigning champion, betting trends suggest punters were very wary of backing Murray this year."
