In spite of reports that the superstar singer snubbed an invite to appear on Meghan's podcast Archetypes, the Duchess jumped out of her chair and belted out the words to Taylor's 2008 hit You Belong With Me, according to People magazine.

Before breaking into her hit song, one of her earliest, Taylor told the excited crowd assembled at the SoFi stadium in Los Angeles, "Let's go back to high school!"

However Meghan did not snap a picture with the songstress, unlike many other celebrities who have been at Taylor's LA shows this week.

Alicia Keys and Kobe Bryant's widow Vanessa both took their children along for a photo with Taylor, with celebrities including Gigi Hadid, Paula Abdul and Sarah Michelle Gellar all going along to watch her perform.

As Meghan enjoyed her night out, her husband Prince Harry was thousands of miles away in Japan to attend the ISPS Sports Values Summit-Special Edition in Tokyo with his friend and polo teammate Nacho Figueras.

He is now in Singapore for the 2023 Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup at Singapore Polo Club, to be played on Saturday to rasie funds for his African charity Sentebale.

They may be spending some time apart this week but last week the couple were spotted at trendy Montecito restaurant Tre Lune to celebrate Meghan's 42nd birthday.

They will not doubt have been enjoying the summer at their Montecito home with their two children Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two, as they love spending quality family time in the outdoors.

In their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey Harry revealed that the Sussexes enjoy cycling together and taking their dogs to the beach.

The family are also likely to spend time in their huge garden, which comes complete with a chicken coop and vegetable patch to keep the children occupied.

The rest of the royals will soon be embarking on their annual summer holiday to Balmoral, the first time they have been at their Scottish residence since the death of Queen Elizabeth.

Harry and Meghan are not expected to join them, despite an open invitation being sent.
