EXCLUSIVE: Meghan Markle's only way back to stardom is by returning to Hollywood as there is 'not a lot' more she could do, according to a PR expert.

Meghan Markle 'needs' to return to Hollywood in one way or another as that will allow her to "turn the tide" and rebuild her reputation that's currently "in tatters", a PR expert has claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex has been making headlines this week after launching her and Prince Harry's new website and securing a deal with a new podcast company before they both headed to Canada to mark the beginning of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025's One Year to Go festivities.
Earlier, rumours were swirling about whether Meghan would make a return to showbiz after Suits - the legal drama she starred in before he met Harry - confirmed a new spin-off series.
Whilst reports suggested that the duchess might potentially come back and join the show's spin-off, sources close to the Duchess claimed this is highly unlikely.
But a PR expert suggested that Meghan relies on Hollywood for her reputation, as, after leaving the Royal Family in 2020 and seeing her reputation plummet over the years, there is not a lot more she could do to salvage it.

Laura Perkes, PR strategist, reputation manager and founder of PR with Perkes claimed she had high hopes for Meghan's potential return to showbiz.
She told Express.co.uk: "If Meghan can break back into Hollywood then I think the tide will turn for her good fortune and she'll rebuild a reputation that's currently in tatters.
"It's no secret that Meghan has always had a desire to become a Hollywood starlet and this could be the one big opportunity she's been waiting for.
"Prior to Suits, not many people had heard of Meghan Markle, yet it was her relationship with Prince Harry that contributed to her meteoric rise to fame."

"Aside from being an actress, Meghan has attempted to break into philanthropy, which hasn't worked in her favour and actively contributed to the reputation the couple have carved out for themselves."
The expert added that a return to acting would help Meghan "rebuild her reputation and contribute to her rise back to stardom, which will then open other doors to other opportunities.
"Being a brand ambassador is something else she's always strived for, but in recent years brands have been wary of aligning themselves with Meghan because of the negative press she receives. Not all publicity is good publicity."
