PLEA: Chamakh wants to move to the Gunners Friday July 17,2009 By Gareth BebbARSENAL target Marouane Chamakh has issued a come-and-get-me plea to manager Arsene Wenger.
Wenger has identified Bordeaux striker Chamakh as the perfect replacement for Manchester City-bound forward Emmanuel Adebayor. Wenger is ready with a £7 million bid and may also be prepared to let French defender Mikael Silvestre join Bordeaux. “Arsenal would be perfect for me because it is a big club and I know some of the players in the squad,” said Chamakh.
