are reportedly exploring a summer move for midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, with contact already made over his signature. The Red Devils are said to have joined , and in the frame as they prepare to replace .

At least one new midfielder is expected to arrive at Old Trafford at the end of the season, with Casemiro up for sale amid interest in Saudi Arabia and Christian Eriksen unhappy as a bit-part player.

Dewsbury-Hall has enjoyed an impressive season after Leicester's relegation to the Championship, registering 10 goals and 13 assists in 36 league appearances.

The 25-year-old is contracted at the King Power Stadium until 2027, but Leicester could soon fall under significant pressure to cash in on one of Enzo Maresca's top stars.

The Foxes have been charged with an alleged breach of the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules, which may result in a points deduction if they return to the top flight this term.

They could come under pressure to sell Dewsbury-Hall as his suitors close in, and United are reportedly among those weighing up a move.

According to 90min, the Red Devils have already made contact with the midfielder's camp to understand the possibility of a transfer.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is said to have name-dropped Dewsbury-Hall in meetings with recruitment staff, as he believes he can offer high value and useful versatility.

The 71-year-old doesn't intend to be directly involved in negotiations at Old Trafford, though, amid his overhaul of the club's sporting structure.

He will leave that to Sir Dave Brailsford, Jean-Claude Blanc, and John Murtough before Dan Ashworth arrives as sporting director from Newcastle United.

The report claims that Leicester would demand around £40million for Dewsbury-Hall if they secure promotion back to the Premier League in the coming months.

However, if the 2016 champions' collapse continues and they miss out to their rivals, there is a gentleman's agreement in place that would allow him to leave for just £25m.

Brighton saw a £20m bid rejected in January, failing to meet Dewsbury-Hall's £45m valuation at the time, but would reportedly be willing to increase their offer this summer.

Brentford are also said to have been tracking the Leicester No. 22, but he would prefer a move to a club with European football.

It's claimed Tottenham are his preference after hearing positive things about life under Ange Postecoglu from ex-team-mate and close friend James Maddison.

But Spurs' interest reportedly isn't active and was previously driven by Fabio Paratici before his April 2023 resignation.
